About
Mitco Ltd operates a Bonded Container Freight Stations (CFS) located between the Ports of Seattle & Tacoma for deconsolidation, full container loads (FCL), and less than container load (LCL) import shipments.
Containerized inbound shipments are moved directly from port areas to our CFS facility to await US Customs Clearance and release. Freight is deconsolidated, individual shipments cleared through customs and then delivered to their ultimate destination.
Requirements
Mitco Ltd has been authorized to receive and hold international freight containers until they are customs cleared or inspected by customs officers and released. Qualifications to become a container freight station are rigorous and include meeting an extensive list of requirements including types of alarm and fire protection systems, secure areas to hold freight, and criminal background checks on both the company and its employees.
